Fedify tunnel

Public tunneling service

A public URL for your local server.

fedify.com.es gives Fedify CLI a temporary HTTPS address for local ActivityPub development. No account or separate tunnel client is required. The route disappears when your command stops.

$ fedify tunnel --service fedify.com.es 8000

https://4m8k2pd7w1x9c3qn.fedify.com.es/
→ http://localhost:8000

Temporary by design

Each connection receives a random 16-character subdomain. HTTP, HTTPS, and WebSocket traffic are supported. Fixed names, custom domains, raw TCP ports, and persistent hosting are not.

Verified before forwarding

Fedify CLI pins the SSH host key and stops before opening a tunnel if the server key changes. Current fingerprint: SHA256:MS+vPYDnU2dceunPdykxErOjWoTKQG/Hcy0HFfQc6mg.

No HTTP access log

The service does not keep HTTP access logs. Connection and tunnel lifecycle events are retained for up to 14 days for operations and abuse response. The deployment is open source.
